All our staff have extensive town planning experience, and are drawn from both the public and private sectors - including the house building industry as well as consultancy.

Our Wokingham based team has an excellent understanding of planning issues in Central and Southern England, with particular expertise in site promotion, strategic planning, planning applications, appeals and public inquiries, and enforcement.

The team at Twickenham has been involved with many major residential-led, mixed-use, leisure and retail development projects in London and Surrey.

The team in Cardiff carry out a wide range of work in Wales, principally South Wales, and are leading a number of major strategic housing and mixed use schemes in the West of England.

The team based in Colchester operate principally in the East of England with a client base that includes housebuilders, retail operators, health providers and renewable energy schemes.

Ray Ricks Dip TP, MRTPI Director

With a Diploma in Town Planning and as a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, Ray has been involved in planning since 1972, starting in local government, before joining Boyer Planning in 1988. Ray has a broad range of experience, from projects with multi-national companies through to individual smaller clients, both residential and commercial. Ray works principally across East Anglia, South East England and the Midlands.
