Celebrating 25 Years of Boyer Planning

Meopham Road, Mitcham
Client: Sutton & Merton PCT

In March 2009, Boyer Planning obtained planning permission on behalf of Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust for the redevelopment of a former clinic within the London Borough of Merton.

The scheme, designed by David Wood Architects, provided eight assisted living flats as part of the NHS campus re-provision programme, for people with learning disabilities currently living at Orchard Hill Hospital, Carshalton and Birches Close, Mitcham.

Boyer Planning was involved in the extensive post-application discussions with planning officers and the public consultation exercise, which involved attending and leading presentations to local residents. We also prepared the planning statement and the daylight/sunlight assessment, both submitted in support of the planning application.
