Client: Caring Homes Ltd
Acting on behalf of Caring Homes Ltd, Boyer Planning and Head Projects successfully achieved full planning permission for an additional 17 bedrooms and associated facilities for this residential care home. The development included two separate two-storey extensions which, as well as providing new bedrooms, included two new lounge areas and two assisted bathrooms.
Following pre-application discussions with Wealden District Council, a series of minor amendments were made to the site layout, including a slight reduction in the scale of the development and alterations to the proposed extensions. Subsequent to the submission of the application, minor alterations to the parking arrangements were agreed with the highway authority. Boyer Planning was able to successfully achieve planning permission for the extensions, and enable the client to realise the site’s maximum development potential.
