Acting for the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, Boyer Planning, working with Rooney McConville Architects, led the professional team responsible for the re-development of the Catholic Church of St. Dunstan's in Woking. The project involved securing planning permission for a new church on a former primary school site in the town, together with the re-development of two existing Catholic churches for residential purposes.
The new church was completed and dedicated in 2008. Boyer Planning advised the diocese throughout the project and was instrumental in securing the three planning permissions required. The schemes raised a number of issues, including design, impact on residential amenity, transport and removal of community facilities.
