West of Shottery
Boyer Planning submitted an outline planning application for land at Shottery, Stratford-upon-Avon. The scheme, prepared on behalf of JS Bloor (Tewksbury) Ltd and Hallam Land Management Ltd, comprised construction of up to 800 new homes, a new community primary school, local centre and the Stratford West Relief Road. The site was identified as a strategic reserve site in the Adopted Local Plan. The illustrative master plan, prepared by FPCR, adhered to development principles set out by the district council, particularly in relation to Anne Hathaway's Cottage, which is situated to the east of the application site. Public consultation on the scheme was undertaken in 2008.
